Hon. Charles Kirnon represented Montserrat’s Ministry of Health and Social Services at the 10th Meeting of the OECS Council of Ministers: Health (COM: Health), held on October 9-10, 2024, in Dominica. The meeting focused on improving healthcare access and delivery under the theme “Beyond Borders: Breaking Barriers and Empowering Change in Healthcare Access and Delivery.”
Ministers discussed key issues such as preventative primary healthcare, digital technologies, and pharmaceutical systems, emphasizing regional collaboration to address challenges like non-communicable diseases and mental health.
As a veteran politician and member of MCAP, Hon. Kirnon has been instrumental in advocating for better healthcare for Montserrat.
